Government Resources

Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships: This USDA Center is one of 13 Centers for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships across Federal agencies. These centers provide resources connecting faith-based and neighborhood organizations.

Center for Disease Control (CDC): Partnering with the National Diabetes Education Program and the National Institutes of Health, the CDC has created a “Faith Leaders Toolkit: Diabetes Prevention and Management” resource.

     


Health Associations

Catholic Health Association: One of the largest groups of nonprofit health care providers in the nation, CHA employs RDNs and NDTRs in more than 600 hospitals and 1,600 long-term care and other health facilities in all 50 states.

     


Health Ministry

Health Ministry Association: An organization dedicated to “educating, mentoring and advocating” for those working as Faith Community Nurses, Health Ministers and Spiritual Leaders for diverse faith communities.
